Participants, volunteers wanted for Orchard Place’s Moonlight Classic
Orchard Place, a Des Moines-based nonprofit that provides mental health treatment and support to Iowa children, is once again seeking both participants and volunteers for the 2015 Moonlight Classic. The fourth-annual event will take place on May 30 at 9:30 p.m. The bike ride will both start and end at El Bait Shop. This year’s route will pass Des Moines landmarks including the Iowa Capitol, the East Village, Water Works Park and Gray’s Lake. Prizes will also be awarded during the event.
