Partnership announces initial DSM Fellowship class
The Greater Des Moines Partnership today announced the initial cohort for its new DSM Fellowship program. A total of 24 employees at 14 Greater Des Moines companies are participating in the pilot class of the professional development initiative. Launching the two-year program was one of the Partnership’s 2018 strategic priorities. Fellows will complete a customized advanced professional development curriculum, receive mentoring from executives in their company and the region, have access to community engagement opportunities, and work on a capstone project. “Through this program, companies can identify young talented individuals that we want to keep in DSM and help them connect to their workplace and the community during their first years in the workforce,” said Mary Bontrager, executive vice president of talent development at the Partnership.
