The Greater Des Moines Partnership will honor six companies with its Economic Impact Award and five companies for their business practices with the Celebrate Business Award on Nov. 14.

The awards program will take place at the Hotel Fort Des Moines from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Economic Impact Award winners are Capital City Fruit Co.; Hewlett-Packard Co.; Interstate Batteries; Kemin Foods LC; The Lauridsen Group Inc.; and The Toro Co. Celebrate Business Award winners are Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Saturday Manufacturing, Community Champion; Eurofins Scientific Inc. and Kuder Inc., Best Kept Secret; and Dwolla Inc., Best Workplace for Young Professionals.
