Partnership to host talk on U.S. debt
The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host former New York Gov. George Pataki, who will speak about the federal budget at a breakfast event from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Friday.
The event will take place at the Partnership building, 700 Locust St. Pataki is the honorary chairman of No American Debt, an organization seeking to educate the public about the debt crisis and how it affects everyday life.
