Clive-based Peoples Co., a farmland broker that has branched into a range of agriculture services as well as residential development in Greater Des Moines, also is establishing a presence in eastern Iowa. The company recently announced the opening of an office in Cedar Rapids and the hiring of Dennis Petersen as a broker in that office. He will focus on Linn, Benton, Black Hawk, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa and Johnson counties. He is a past president of the Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors. Peoples has hired Archie Kuntz to work out of its Clive office and focus on the sales of farms and recreational properties in portions of Poweshiek, Jasper, Marshall, Benton, Tama, Iowa, Mahaska and Keokuk counties. Last year, Peoples acquired DeWitt-based Total Realty Co.
