Petrowsky to retire from LeadingAge Iowa

Dana Petrowsky, president and CEO of LeadingAge Iowa, formerly the Iowa Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, will retire from the association, effective Dec. 31. Petrowsky has led the association since 1998. LeadingAge Iowa represents more than 130 nonprofit members and 82 associate members. During her career, she served as administrator of the state’s Health Facilities Division and as a regional director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and also worked for IMS Services Inc., managing several medical specialty societies in Iowa. John Kaduce, a LeadingAge Iowa board member and former president and CEO of Lifespace Communities Inc., will serve as the association’s interim president and CEO during the search for Petrowsky’s successor.
