In response to the recent flurry of public sexual harassment allegations and the #MeToo movement, MRA – The Management Association has produced a free podcast to provide organizations with practical solutions for preventing and addressing workplace sexual harassment. “Raising awareness is essential, but employers must teach employees what sexual harassment looks like and sounds like with practical examples, and not just check the compliance training box,” said Lindsey Hofmann, MRA’s instructional design manager. According to MRA, the number of sexual harassment charges filed with the EEOC over the last several years has stayed steady, but retaliation charges have risen. “It’s important to maintain civility in the workplace after a sexual harassment complaint,” said Michael Hyatt, MRA’s HR government affairs director.
