Prairie Meadows awarded a $20,000 Betterment Grant to help fund the renovation and installation of synthetic play-safe turf on the playground at Oakridge Neighborhood’s Oak Academy Early Learning and Preschool. The newly refurbished playground will serve the youngest children in Oak Academy, ages 6 weeks through 3 years. Oak Academy is a curriculum-based early enrichment center designed to ensure students begin kindergarten with skills on par with their peers. The Oakridge Neighborhood works to create opportunities for thousands of children, adults and families to succeed and become financially independent.
