Prairie Meadows recognizes grant recipients
Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino will recognize 205 Central Iowa community betterment projects it funded in fiscal year 2010 in a luncheon today at The Meadow Events Center.
Through its Community Betterment Grant and Legacy Grant programs, Prairie Meadows received more than 440 requests in 2010 totaling $22.4 million and it granted $3.9 million.
Community Betterment Grant winners will be recognized today, and Legacy Grant recipients will be recognized in June. To apply for a 2011 grant, go to www.prairiemeadows.com.
