Pinky Swear Foundation in Des Moines announced a special sponsor partnership with Principal Financial Group. The foundation was awarded a $25,000 grant from Principal to help with special events, mission awareness and raising additional funds. The Minneapolis-based foundation supports families of children with cancer through direct financial aid for basic needs and through experiences that create emotional support. “Principal is pleased to partner with Pinky Swear Foundation,” said Steve Whitty, Principal’s vice president of corporate marketing. “Together, we are helping families across the country achieve financial security during a time of personal hardship and financial difficulty.” For the past two years, Pinky Swear has partnered with Hy-Vee Inc. to host the Hy-Vee Kids triathlon fundraising event.
