Principal Financial Group wins 2025 CSO Award

The CSO Awards recognize organizations for security projects and initiatives demonstrating outstanding business value and thought leadership, a news release said. The digital ID project replaces traditional authentication with advanced biometric authentication for online account registration, which helps eliminate account takeover fraud, the release said. Also, Meg Anderson, Principal’s recently retired vice president and chief information security officer, will also be inducted into the CSO Hall of Fame.
