Project IOWA graduates 34
Project IOWA has 34 graduates in its first class of 2015. In the last three years, 202 participants have been trained in skilled manufacturing, business and health care positions. Of the participants, 76 percent of the graduates have been placed in full-time employment with benefits with Central Iowa employers with an average starting wage of $13.51. Project IOWA — Iowa Opportunities for Workforce Advancement — is a public-private workforce development effort founded by AMOS in 2011 to serve underemployed individuals. Read more
