Winners from Central Iowa were Submittal Exchange LLC, Des Moines, and CEO Matt Ostanik, small-to-medium software company; WebFilings LLC, Ames, and CEO Matthew Rizai, large software company; Alliance Technologies Inc., Des Moines, and CEO Mike Lang, IT service provider; Iowa Health Home Care, Urbandale, and President and CEO Phyllis Stadtlander, IT innovation in health; PowerFilm Inc., Ames, and CEO Tim Neugent, clean technology company; GCommerce Inc., Des Moines, and President and CEO Steven Smith, best user of technology; Steven Carter, director of the Iowa State University Research Park and the Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, LWBJ “Investing in Iowa’s Future” award; Sunnie Richer, CEO of DoExtra Corp., lifetime achievement; Jason Popillion of GCommerce, chief information officer; BodyViz, Ames, and CEO Curt Carlson, breakout company; and Dwolla Corp., Des Moines, and president and founder Ben Milne, outstanding start-up.
