Quality Food Processors in Denison planning expansion
Denison-based Quality Food Processors said Monday it wants to invest $20 million to expand its bacon production plant, a project that could create 200 jobs, The Des Moines Register reports. The company, owned by a group of investors, said it plans to expand depend on financing and economic development incentives. According to the article, the company already employs 100 workers at the bacon and smoked meats plant.
