It’s not her own quote; it was borrowed from Michael Smith, an architect near Melbourne, Australia. For someone like myself, curious about architecture but far from an expert, I just thought it provided an interesting lens through which to view the importance of the look and feel of our city … especially as our city interviews daily for attracting and retaining top talent.
