The Technology Association of Iowa has begun accepting registrations for the second annual Heartland GreenUp Symposium & Expo. The conference, to be held June 2 at The Meadows Events & Conference Center in Altoona, will focus on connecting executives, technologists, entrepreneurs and thought leaders with new clean technologies that will harness business growth while lessening effects on the environment. Tim Dwight, former University of Iowa football star and owner of iPower, a solar energy company, will serve as master of ceremonies. Harris Warsaw, vice president of general business in North America for IBM Corp., is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech as part of the daylong conference.
