Remodeled Vets Auditorium ribbon-cutting near
After 14 months of renovation, the building formerly known as Veterans Memorial Auditorium will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 9.
The new convention center space has new meeting rooms, the state’s largest ballroom, a new outdoor plaza and a tribute to Iowa veterans. The ribbon cutting and open house will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Iowa Events Center, 833 Fifth Ave.
