The two-day clinic was being hosted by Des Moines Metro Adventist Radio-KPOG and the Des Moines Seventh-day Adventist Churches, and was set to take place at the EastView Community Center. “After much discussion, the Community Host Group decided to cancel this year, and we are looking at 2023,” RAM Clinic Manager Vicki Gregg said in a statement. “RAM looks forward to working with them for future clinics in Iowa.” Poppy Green, RAM’s marketing manager, said that unfilled volunteer positions due to several local events conflicting with the clinic dates, primarily the Iowa-Iowa State football game on Sept. 10, was the main reason for the cancellation.
