The tastiest time of year returns today with the kickoff of Des Moines Restaurant Week 2015.
The eighth annual event will be held Friday, Aug. 14, through Sunday, Aug. 23. Restaurant Week is presented by dsm magazine and the Business Record, in partnership with the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Chefs at 37 Greater Des Moines restaurants have prepared special prix fixe menus for the occasion, and patrons can purchase two lunches or one three-course dinner for $25.
As an added draw this year, Restaurant Week participants can enter to win a three-day trip for two to Miami. All you have to do is save four receipts from participating restaurants and drop them off at Business Publications Corp. Inc., 100 Fourth St., by noon on Aug. 25.
More details, participating restaurants and menus are posted on Restaurant Week’s website.
