Restoration Ingersoll requests TIF district
Restoration Ingersoll will ask the Des Moines City Council tonight to authorize research and eventual designation of a tax increment finance district for Ingersoll Avenue. Among other things, tax increment financing would accelerate infrastructure improvements from downtown to 42nd Street and provide a model for “public-private projects in Des Moines, the group said in a letter to the council and city manager.
