Reynolds plans trade mission to Argentina, Uruguay

Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds leaves this weekend for a privately financed trade mission to Argentina and Uruguay. She hopes to expand exports to the areas on a trip financed by the Iowa Economic Development Authority Foundation. As Argentina addresses its economic challenges, imports from the United States are expected to rise, the state reported. Stops will include the Buenos Aires and Rosario areas. Uruguay is an open trade nation and is growing. The delegation of Iowa businesses will be visiting sites in the Montevideo area. Meetings in the two nations are scheduled at U.S. embassies, ministries, chambers, universities, associations and Iowa company operations. Read the full news release.
