Reynolds signs water quality bill
Gov. Kim Reynolds got her wish today, signing legislation that provides $282 million in funding for a water quality project. “This law is a significant step in the right direction and should ignite a continuing conversation as we work to make a positive impact on water quality in Iowa,” she said. Senate File 512 passed the Iowa House of Representatives 59-41 on Jan. 23 and the Iowa Senate 31-19 last year.
