Jana Rieker, vice president of sales and marketing for Bankers Trust Co., is resigning from her position after five years in the role, Rieker announced today. Her resignation is effective May 1.

Rieker has accepted a position where she will serve in an advisory role with the global marketing team of Stine Seed Co. She will provide consulting services to a select group of clients in Central Iowa and Nebraska.

During her time with Bankers Trust, Rieker helped lead the company’s rebranding efforts.

“I’m so proud of the strong marketing team we have been able to build during my time here, and I leave knowing they’ll continue to support the bank’s strong service culture for our clients,” Rieker said in a release.

Rieker is a member of the Business Record’s 2011 Forty Under 40 class. She currently serves as co-chair of Million Women Mentors for STEM, alongside Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds. She also serves on the board of directors for a variety of organizations including Employee and Family Resources, The Iowa Hall of Pride, Kingdom Cares International and West Des Moines Girls Softball.

Rieker said she will continue volunteering in the community.
