River Place Project certified at LEED Silver level
The Polk County River Place Project has been certified to the LEED Silver level established by the U.S. Green Buildings Council, the Polk County Board of Supervisors announced Tuesday. The project has the highest ranking by a public entity in Polk County. The project is the former Target store and warehouse that the county purchased in 2006 with the intent to relocated various county functions from leased space and consolidate them into one county-owned facility.
