Roeder returning to Des Moines public schools
Phil Roeder has been hired as director of community relations and legislative liaison for the Des Moines Independent Community School District, Superintendent Nancy Sebring said today in a news release. Roeder served as the district’s community relations director in 2007 and 2008. On June 1, he will replace Twyla Woods, who is retiring as chief of staff. She also directed the community relations department for the past year.
