Rotary Night to raise funds for Blessman Ministries
Simon Estes and his choir will perform at the Rotary Night for Africa event at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 12.
The event is a fund-raiser held by the East Polk Rotary Club. Proceeds from a live auction and silent auction will go to the Rotary International Service Committee, which will largely fund efforts to feed children in South Africa through Blessman Ministries, a nonprofit organization located in Urbandale.
