Run Like a Mother Run/Walk planned for May 7
Now in its 13th year, the 4-mile Run Like a Mother Run/Walk will take place on May 7 at Island Park in Cedar Falls. One of the largest road races in the Cedar Valley, Run Like a Mother attracts over 400 runners and is one of two annual fundraising events organized by Chicks for Change. Founded over a decade ago by residents of the Cedar Valley who were passionate about the work of the Iowa Women’s Foundation, the group has raised more than $150,000 for the foundation.
