SBA guarantees $6.8M Central Iowa loans in February

99 wordsAll Latest News, Economic DevelopmentBefore the coronavirus pandemic made its way to Iowa, the U.S. Small Business Administration in February backed $6,831,000 in five Central Iowa loans.
Those five loans are expected to create 37 jobs and retain 60. Three loans were $1 million or more: Jam Investments of Altoona LLC in Des Moines for $3,922,000, Nixon Business Enterprises LLC in Des Moines for $1,450,000, and HWY 169 Ag Services LLC in Winterset for $1 million.
Central Iowa is defined as Polk, Story, Boone, Dallas, Madison, Warren, Marion, Jasper and Marshall counties.
