Day started FocusFirst in 2002 to provide coaching, consulting and training to executives, leaders and entrepreneurs. She is active in several organizations that support female business owners and provide mentoring to female entrepreneurs. Mike Olson, vice president of Lincoln Savings Bank in Grinnell, was named Iowa SBA Veterans Small Business Champion of the Year. Denita Gadson, owner of 4Cs Consulting and IGus Marketing of Waterloo, is Iowa SBA Minority Small Business Champion of the Year.
