The U.S. Small Business Administration is running an Accelerator Growth Fund competition for accelerators and other entrepreneurial ecosystem models to compete for $50,000 prizes. The total prize pool is $4 million. Applications will be accepted from April 10 to June 1. The panel is especially interested in applicants that fill geographic gaps in the accelerator and entrepreneurial ecosystem space. In addition, the SBA is also seeking accelerators headed by women and those that support them or other underrepresented groups. Manufacturing accelerator models will be given special consideration during this year’s competition.
