SBDC State Advisory Board leaders elected

America’s SBDC Iowa has elected Maureen Elbert of Algona and Lindsey Buchheit of Sergeant Bluff as the chair and vice chair, respectively, of the SBDC State Advisory Board. The board represents all regions of the state for the business assistance programs operated by Iowa’s 15 Small Business Development Centers. Elbert is the executive director of the Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation in Algona. Buchheit is the founder of Buchheit Law PLC in Sergeant Bluff. They begin their one-year terms on Jan. 1. America’s SBDC Iowa is an outreach program of Iowa State University’s College of Business and is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
