The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team announced it will host its next monthly webinar on Sept. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. focusing on how agricultural employers can prepare for interactions with federal immigration officials. Kristiana Coutu, director of the Beginning Farmer Center and counsel for the Center for Agricultural Law and Taxation at ISU, will outline common reasons for immigration-related farm visits and offer guidance on compliance and readiness. The free, virtual session is open to producers, dairy consultants, and industry representatives, with online registration required. An archived recording will be available after the event.
