Silicon Prairie News returns, but not in Des Moines
Silicon Prairie News, the news site covering the Midwest startup scene, will come back online later this month, but won’t cover Des Moines initially, The Des Moines Register reported. “If there’s big events happening in Des Moines, we do want to cover those events, but when we initially start we’re not going to have a Des Moines person on the ground,” Ryan Pendell, the site’s new managing editor, told the Register. Omaha-based Silicon Prairie News will restart coverage of the regional technology community Feb. 23, Pendell said.
