The Simpson College Board of Trustees announced it has approved renovations of Pfeiffer Dining Hall and the adjacently Great Hall. The combined $10 million project is set to begin in November and be completed in fall 2026. The Pfeiffer dining space is being fully renovated with a new entrance, updated furnishings, lighting and windows. Redesigned serving stations will expand menu options and a north-side patio will provide views of campus and Buxton Park, a news release said. The Great Hall’s restoration will include a mix of historic and modern features, preserving wooden beams, bay windows and antique lighting and adding flexible stage space for events and movable seating and tables.
