Simpson College will host an Adaptive and Resilient Leadership workshop series on Nov. 13, at Hubbell Hall inside the Kent Campus Center in Indianola. The event features three one-hour afternoon sessions on trauma and resilience, data analysis and project management, each derived from Simpson’s online degree and certificate programs and taught by faculty members. The workshops are open to anyone who is interested and registration is available for individual sessions or the full series. “The ability to adapt and move forward in times of uncertainty can offer an extra edge for leaders,” Spencer Waugh, Simpson’s associate dean of academic innovation, said in a prepared statement. “By offering Simpson curriculum and faculty expertise through these workshops, professionals can sharpen their skills, expand their knowledge and add to the overall strength of our community.”
