Small business owners wary of economy
A national survey of small to medium-sized business owners by Principal Financial Group Inc. found that although they are optimistic about the health of their businesses, they lack confidence in the economy.
Almost half said their businesses improved in the past year, but two-thirds said they are not making long-term financial commitments because they’re worried about the economy.
However, 42 percent said they plan to add staff in the next year. Read the full results of the survey here.
