Soccer foundation uses Prairie Meadows grant to award equipment to local groups

92 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and CultureThe Iowa Soccer Development Foundation announced it has awarded soccer equipment to nine area organizations in Greater Des Moines to support underserved youths, giving them the opportunity to play and practice their sport. The awards were made possible by a $12,000 grant from Prairie Meadows to ISDF. The nonprofit was established in 2019 to design and build the Pro Iowa Soccer Stadium and Global Plaza. “This grant award fits seamlessly into Pro Iowa’s efforts to date installing 10 mini-pitches across the state, including seven here in Central Iowa,” said Charley Campbell, ISDF secretary.
