Social Club receives donation from Principal
The Des Moines Social Club today announced a donation of $300,000 from Principal Financial Group Inc.
Most of the money will be used toward the purchase and renovation the downtown firehouse at the corner of Ninth and Mulberry streets, and $50,000 will go for Social Club programming and operations.
