Southwell to retire from Wellmark
Dave Southwell, executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, will retire in September, with David Brown succeeding him in the positions, the company announced today. Southwell has served on the boards of both ChildServe and Variety – The Children’s Charity, and has chaired the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s economic development committee. Brown joined Wellmark in May after 12 years at Capital One Financial.
