The U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy will host Aakif Ahmad, vice president and co-founder of Convergence, who will speak about Pakistan and his work with the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Initiative.

The U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy will host Aakif Ahmad, vice president and co-founder of Convergence, who will speak about Pakistan and his work with the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Initiative.

Ahmad will focus on citizen-to-citizen engagement and how he is working to improve relations between the U.S. and Muslim countries. Ahmad will speak at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, at Des Moines Central Library, 1000 Grand Ave.
