Speedway Foundation surpasses $250,000 mark
The Iowa Speedway Foundation announced today that it has surpassed the $250,000 fund-raising mark. Since its inception in 2007, the foundation has raised $261,257. Race fan participation in track-sponsored philanthropy events helped the organization reach its fund-raising goals. Some of the beneficiaries include American Legion Riders’ Operation: Military Kids, Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Iowa and Make-A-Wish Iowa chapter.
