If you’re not planning on wearing the green tomorrow, you may be seeing red unless you plan ahead. The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick’s annual parade through downtown Des Moines will begin at noon Thursday at 15th and Locust streets, and will proceed east to Embassy Suites on the River at 101 E. Locust. Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) has made several temporary route changes between noon and 1:30 p.m. For details on the route changes, visit www.ridedart.com.
