Gates Corp. will receive $900,000 for a $7 million facility expansion of its hydraulic hose plant in Boone. The largest job-creation project is in Mount Ayr, where Heartland Energy Solutions expects to create 106 jobs at a wind-turbine manufacturing plant. Heartland was awarded $300,000 for that project.

In total, the 10 projects are expected to create and retain 521 jobs and leverage investments of approximately $100 million.
