Vendors that do business with the state will receive better payment records through a new vendor payment portal, the Iowa Department of Administrative Services announced. With the new system, vendors can securely access details regarding their payments from the state that may include the originating department, invoice number and the reason for the payment.  The portal includes the current month’s information as well as details of checks or deposits for the two previous months. The portal can be accessed through a secure log-in process at http://i3public.iowa.gov/payments/index.faces
