Student lives will be on public display.
Hiatt Middle School seventh-graders and Meredith English Language Learners will have a multimedia exhibit about their lives from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Des Moines Central Library, 1000 Grand Ave. The exhibit combines enlarged photographs, a slide show, written words and live presentations. The student project is part of CultureALL and PhotoVoice, which is sponsored by Bankers Trust Co. After an introduction to photography, 70 students received disposable cameras and were asked to document their culture. The event is free.
