Student startups to give final pitch at CYstarters Finale Event

85 wordsAll Latest News, Innovation and EntrepreneurshipFifteen Iowa State University student-led startup companies will pitch their businesses at the public CYstarters Finale Event on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ISU Economic Development Core Facility, 1805 Collaboration Place in Ames. The teams are in CYstarter’s third cohort, participating in a 10-week summer accelerator for students or recent graduates. As part of the program, individuals received $6,500 or up to $13,000 per team to establish their startup. Wednesday’s finale is open to ISU faculty, students and the public.
