A design that puts wood in motion is on display this month as part of the Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ ongoing exhibition that features the handiwork of its clients. Substance said in a statement that display uses wood to animate the AIA Iowa workspace and create shading from the sun. AIA Iowa features the work of a member firm for one month and plans to do so throughout the year. Displays are open to the public at 400 Locust St., Suite 100, and can be seen from the newly renovated Cowles Commons.
