Sunset Transportation adds regional sales manager
Sunset Transportation, a St. Louis-based logistics company, recently appointed Jim Ackermann as regional sales manager for Greater Des Moines. He has 27 years of transportation experience and has worked in operations, national accounts and local sales. As part of his new responsibilities, Ackermann will expand and manage Sunset’s presence in the Iowa regional market and oversee business development for the company. Ackermann attended the University of Missouri-St Louis School of Business. He is currently a member of the Traffic Club of Des Moines.
