The site also gives contact information for cities’ staff members. “The number of beekeepers in Iowa has increased roughly three-fold in about a decade,” Agriculture Secretary Bill Northey said in a statement. “We’ve grown from approximately 1,500 beekeepers in the early 2000s to an estimated 4,500 beekeepers today.” The information covers 77 towns.
