The Des Moines City Council is expected to give official recognition to the completion of the Krause Gateway Center, the $150 million project that will serve as corporate headquarters for Kum & Go and affiliated companies and dramatically change the view to the north in the Western Gateway of downtown Des Moines. This is a routine gesture typical of development projects that are built under development agreements with the city. Kum & Go plans to move to its new digs on Nov. 5. In October 2015, the council approved a 20-year, $10.9 million economic development package.
